Brittany’s Journey

Brittany is a member of the Mabry Family and a participant in the Rapid Rehousing Program.

She turned 18 in November 2025 and has been eager to be employed since entering the program. Brittany started working at Richmond Drive Elementary School on March 26th in the Food Service department.

Brittany is so excited to work with the children at the school and says that they are a joy to work with. What she likes most is being able to provide the students with a good and healthy meal because for some of the children she knows that could be their first and last meal of the day.

Brittany's long-term goal is to continue working in the Rock Hill School system. Brittany is presently going to Adult Education classes at Rock Hill Adult Education Center twice a week after she leaves work.
